Privécursus

Soms is het lastig om als stel een groepscursus te volgen.
Een reden kan zijn dat een van beiden een andere taal spreekt, of omdat in verband met werkzaamheden je de cursus alleen op tijden kan volgen die regulier niet worden aangeboden.

Een oplossing kan dan zijn om een privécursus aan te vragen. Niet alle regio's in het land hebben de mogelijkheid om deze privécursus aan te bieden. Vraag daarom via inschrijving bij jullie regio naar de mogelijkheden.

Are you looking for the right maternity class? Samen Bevallen (Birthing Together) offers you and your partner the opportunity to prepare for the birth of your child together. Having a baby is a big step; you're becoming parents! Looking forward to meeting your baby and seeing your partner as a parent is an overall exciting experience. The idea of giving birth can be a bit overwhelming and you may have questions and worries about what to expect.
The course Samen Bevallen helps you prepare for the birth of your baby in an informative and practical way. During the course you will learn and practice different birthing techniques as well as all the what's and why's about labor. The coaching role of the partner throughout the birth is one of our main focuses.
The course is given by teachers that have given birth their selves and have been fully educated within the Samen Bevallen association. We follow annual training to stay up to date with the latest insights in the field. We are supported by many midwives and obstetricians throughout the country and many practices recommend our course. Our main goal is to give you and your baby the best start possible.
If the regular Dutch Samen Bevallen course is not an option for you because you don't speak or understand Dutch fluently (or you prefer to follow an English class), it is possible to follow a complete English course of 3 to 4 classes. This is a private course, in comparison to the regular Dutch course which is 10 classes in a group (up to six couples).

Then select your nearest town and you will find a contact address and/or phone number at the bottom of the 3rd column.
You can sign up for a course in your region from 14 weeks pregnancy and on. The ideal time to start the course is anywhere between the 23rd and 27th week of your pregnancy.
